In 1974, the French filmmaker and essayist Georges Perec made an “attempt to exhaust a place in Paris” by sitting in a single spot for several days and noting in precise detail what happened around him.

I have chosen an area of Liverpool and I familiarised myself with this locale.

As a process of recording my findings, I have taken numerous photographs and I tried to focus on their visual quality.
